Default 03 Allison issue. HELP!

So one day going to work the truck loses gears. Only has park and 5th also got a check engine light. Found a bad wire to the neutral safety switch so I fixed that, clear code for a few days then the problem is back. Put a new NSS in it and still same problem. Checked cleaned and greased all connections when I did it. Made it a few miles and then the problem is back. Put another NSS in to eliminate the. Chance of a junk new part and still same problem.

What else can I do here? Anyone else been down this road before? Thanks much

BTW truck is bone stock except Edge JWA that doesn't get set above 4

Turns out it flattened a pin when being plugged back in. Getting a new harness and a GM NSBU for peace of mind and hopefully be on my way.
