Default Lb7 blow off valve?

Im looking at getting a blow off valve for my lb7. The turbo is stock and just love that sound of the blow off valve and was wondering which one to get. Im looking at the turbonetics Duo-35 polished blow off valve and was wondering how good that one is?

dont know but make sure you get a light spring on your
blow off valve... they relief what diesel trucks run off of. backprressure so releasing all that pressure is good and bad. prevents "bark" reverse turbo spool good, yet it gets rid of what you want and need.. boost.

good for running a small very fast responding turbo or very high boost with a single. but if its stock i wouldnt go crazy with a bov.

Are we talking about the wastegate or fuel pressure relief valve?

not being mean or anything but a "bark" is the turbo compressor wheel spinning backwards in your turbo due to the manifold pressure having no where else to go. pretty much. you need wastegate your turbo/ install a BLOW OFF VALVE or buy one already installed. your truck will become a money pit my friend. But aint that what its all about?..

yea thats the benefit of having one. but if the springs not set right in it it can be a pain in the rear. what im trying to say is, its your truck your driving it. a bov is good to prolong the life of the turbo and prevent blowing up everything at high hp....
but like every other mod there is in the world youll keep wanting more and more and the more you take it away from "stock" the harder it'll be to maintain less you understand what every single little thing does. hope this helps. This site is full of purebred diesel guys. Good Luck,

you are better off having a K-9 companion ride with you, then let the turbo do the barking. it will last longer that way. dogs are made to bark not turbos
