Can any one assist me in creating a new blogg or getting information on my 350 Detroit 5.7lt Diesel. It battles to start hot or cold, and seems to run hot sometimes. What should the Idling oil pressure be??? What should its operating or running temperature be when it reaches maximum and what is a normal good operating temp???

Cool i see i have created the blogg now i just need the wringt answeres.
What is the correct oile pressure at idling on electronic oil pressure gauge??
What is the correct idling temperature???
What is the cause of it battling to wether its hot or cold???
Its a V8 what size must the glow plugs be, They are Currently 6V???
When it runns it sounds like a dream!!!

What's up with the funny face where there should be the letters L and O and L? It isn't LOL if it's in the middle of a guy's user-name, dammit!

 

I keep thinking it would be cool to get an old caddilac with one of those in it.those motors have always seemed neat to me.
