Stuck trying to change IP on 95 6.5 HELP

looking for help here in the uk i left off fuel cap after refuelling and it poured of rain its got in to the fuel but didnt relise this until the truck stopped ive drained the tank and dried it new filter all fueled up but getting no fuel from the IP my mechanic buddy recons the IP is screwed is the any way i can check this without taking out the IP but theres a BUT i did chuck 24volts through the starter to spin it over to try and get fuel up

Need more info on the truck like what yr miles

You really need start new thread so can get better help
