ATTN 6.2 hard starting and running very bad

hey i have a 84' 6.2 with a 700r4 and it just died one day after running for about 1 minute.. so i checked the diesel, filter and bled to the lift pump.. wouldnt start.. the lift pumpo was loose a couple days before and i tightend it but it was runnin fine. i had to dump a **** ton of diesel down the intake and get it to fire and run..... now it wont start after 5 hours of being cool unless i plug it in but even after 10 hr im looking at a jumpstart cuz the batteries die because its cold. but its also been running like crap i messed with an epr hose and the egr hose and it was running like it was all cloged up and it couldnt axcelerate uluess i pinned it in first gear then once it shiftted it wouuld bog down. it doesnt run like that now.. but now i have to hold the petal to the floor to get it to start. ppleeeaase hellppp thanks

There isn't any power to the check valve. It's the connection w/ two green wires. You can use a piece of wire to jump it from the fuel cutoff.

It's on the injector pump. I had to do it to my dads truck as it wouldn't start for nothing or start then die. Jumped the solenoid, and then it started and ran.

One other troubleshooter, make sure you can hear a click when you jump it. If not, the solenoid is bad.
