Did a 6.2 ever come with a turbo?.... a guy i know has a 86 surburban that he put a diesel in it and claims its a 88 6.2 turbo from the factory ..... he said i can have it for $600.... i said are you sure its not a 6.5 , he sad no its a 6.2..... it runs perfect im goin to look at it in the morning i want to make a MACK pick up out of it ..... can you tell the diffrence between a 6.2 & a 6.5?

 

turbos did not came out intill the 6.5 came out

 

They didn't come factory but you could have a banks turbo dealer installed as far as I know.

 

Ok... its an ATS turbo on it and runs mint so its now mine for $500 cash and in my driveway..... anyone know about these ATS kits?

 

one thing i know about them is that 6.2s can take more boost than a 6.5
