I have a 1995 6.5TD when i stomp it to the floor to get on the high way after half a miles it starts to miss and buck like it is sucking the fuel filter dry. Put a new LP on it. From what i understand the lift pump should only run when i start it? I dont know what else could cause this. Due to the fact i have put a new L.P I.P and lots more on it

 

LP will run after start also check OPS which run the LP you don't want the IP doing sucking you kill it fast

 

i used a jumper wire in the fuse box to make the lift pump run all the time. it would only run until the truck started then it would shut off. In my repair manual thats what it says it should do. I will see if this fixes it at all. Do you know a good place to get injectors at a fair price. all the ones i found so far want a arm and BOTH legs.
