Well I was going to wire my wastegate shut this morning I know I know it will over boost the engine but I don't really care if it blows the heads right off anyways I was going to do it and the rod won't move more than maybe a half inch towered the a/c is this normal I know it takes a lot to make it work but it should move more than that shouldn't it? Tell me what I'm doing wrong here

 

You can make a manual wastgate with a rod from a battery tie down a wing nut and a spring. Just google it and you should be able to find all the specs. Thats what i did anyways and it works great. i would wire it shut. When i made my manual waistgate it keep it shut all the way until i got it adjusted right and it made the truck run worst. I was getting all that boost and not enough fuel. I think it cost me like 9 bucks to make mine. If you cant find it let me know and i will find it for you.
