JR.
the ops is the oil pressure switch it is located under the fuel filter it screws in to the block. But as i just found out if you are running the stanadyne fuel injector pump and it is electronic there is a shut of switch on the top if that go's bad then it will not allow fuel to pass through.
and the ops will not allow your transfer pump to work if it is bad.... Good luck and aswell if you figure anything out please let me know....
dang chevy's LOL

Got to thinking here and maybe i am just burning my tires here but... Maybe crank sensor may have went bad? All i get is normal cranking but no fire... No fuel getting to injectors i don't think... I cracked loose the injector line and turned over motor and nothing came out... But i open the bleeder on the filter and it shoots fuel out... Lost very lost.... Can't even get it to run off starting fluid...

Found codes
Still no fuel to injectors, thanks for the code lesson. Heres what I found, first code one quick flash pause eight flashes it repeated this two more times then six quick flashes pause two quick flashes it repeated this two more times and the whole thing started over, I did not see a code twelve. If I read this correct do I have a code 18 and a code 62? I also noticed while watching the guages my battery light does not go out.

still no fuel/check posts by BIG JOE
JR, we have the exact same issues. Just came in from another session under the hood. Six days now. I think I'm starting to wear it down. Anyway, I have fuel to filter, can't get to injectors. I have checked the solenoid,it clicks. My LP is wired direct to come on with key, by passed ops. And, will not start with starting fluid. REALLY WEIRD. Check out posts by BIG JOE, alot of information. Should be very helpful. Let me know what you find out. I will do the same.

JR, I can't find codes 18 and 62 in the OBD-1 trouble code chart. Did you find anything?

I would check on getting a new ECM. I had some what of the same problem and the same codes and then some. I got my ECM from autozone for 94$ and i havent had a problem with my truck since. But before i did the new ECm i replaced the IP the OP the LP the PMD and relocated it to the front bumper. Redone all my grounds and checked all my fuses and replaced my Glow plug relay. The only thing my truck was doing that is differnt is my glow plug light wasnt coming on. Sometimes my truck would start and run fine. I could always tell if it was going to start by if the glow plug light came on. I know the for some reason the glow plug relay it related to the PMD some how. But i put a ton of money into it before i replaced the ECM and that fixed it. So i cant say the ECM was the only problem i had but it could have been just that or a mixture of all of the things i fixed.
