I have 96 crew cab 4wd and all of the suff controled from the dash does not work corectly.
My AC will not come on at all, my vents are in defrost mode and don't move and the fan onely works at fastest speed. I have tested every thing in the AC sys from pressure to power at all the fuzez relays and I havent found any thing wrong. From what I can tell one of the previus owners replaced the switch console once before.( Switch module has junk yard markings on it.)

 

Has any one had this problem and how did you fix it ?

 

Probably the control head. They are known to go bad.

 

I found that out from a class mate of mine who has a gasser of the same vintage, he had a second control panel that I was able to buy from him for pretty cheap. Of course this was after trouble shooting the entire HYVAC sys cept the risistor pack on the blower. O well it works in time for the nice Vegas summer.
