Question Q's about a 6.5

Alright guys i am getting a 1995 Chevy 2500 6.5 turbo diesel ext. cab short bed, i was wondering what kind of mpg's you guys are getting in these things if you take it easy and also what all upgrades would help greatly in increasing my mpgs for a cheaper price.

mods are in my signature below my posts. i filled up when diesel was 3.99 so it was about 90 bucks for around 23 gallons. tank usually lasts me anywhere from 360-400 miles depending on how i drive and if i filled my tank all the way to the top. i usually average mid 15s to high 16s mpg

i got a 95 sierra.if i take it easy, say drive 55-60mph i get about 17-18.5 mpg's.mods are on my signature and i don't beat on it.i got a new engine in it,so no it's not going hard core wheeling.that's what i got my short box 77 chevy 4wd on 35's. it gets spendy when you start beating on stuff. not that i don't trust mine off road,i have taken it through the woods,is just not for hardcore wheeling.
