that is what i was fearing, but will it hold up to 13-15psi boost.... reliably ???

yes it will even with the stock turbo. thats what im doing but with studs so i can sleep at night. if you get a larger turbo that produces less drive pressure you can get even more boost like an A Team Turbo.

if he wants power why did he get a 6.5 and to get more power i would put a 12v in it

He's a GM guy.... i know it's a Detroit... but it's his decision !

ya been there i really wanted a cummins but this pickup gets 18 on the highway and its decent but it will need a tranny soon

if you want to run high boost you just need to get a turbo with a better CR. Heath runs 20+ psi on a stock compression motor with his parallel setup. Pretty sure he has headstuds and fire rings, someone correct me if I'm wrong, its been a while.

If you want 300+hp, be prepared to spend money.

yeah thats correct but its closer to 30 psi.
