what is the best cold air intake to run on a '93 6.5... and is there a place to run it to get as much as posible?

 

I hear that the cold air intakes arnt that good for these trucks because they take in hot air in the engine compartment which obviously would'nt help anything. I figure you could boild your own with a K&N kit and run a connection into a cowl hood to take the air directly from the outside. But it's just a thought.

I've wanted to do that, but I just don't have the money for it right now. If you do decide to do that then I would like to know how it turns out.
