ECM Codes
#11
I changed the Whole computer. I took the chip out of the old one and put in the new one. The last computer i was getting a code 55 and 84. And there isnt even a 55 from what i see. I got the codes to clear when i left work drove home and still getting the same codes.
DTC 17 - High Resolution Circuit Fault
DTC 18 - Pump Cam Reference Pulse Error
DTC 35 - Injection Pulse Width Error (Response Time Short)
DTC 43 - Fuel Temperature Circuit High (Low Temp Indicated)
The odd thing is the truck is running stron more power then it has ever had. But at a price. Useing more fuel then ever also. I dont even know what any of this stuff is. I took the last computer back i dont know if they will do it again. They are just going to tell me it s the truck.

Is there anything i should try before i try another computer

well the 17,18,35 could be bad injector pump or bad PMD now for 43 i have never seen that code come before you said using more fuel you may want to look fuel leak around the fuel filter housing lot time you don't see it leaking but if leaking should be able see fuel in the valley that also set them codes off
Also with them codes i would thank it should have put you in limp mode

Well carzy thanks for the offer and all the help but i think i have it fixed but i thought that before. I took the computer out from behind the glove box and pulled all the wires out and while the computer was on the floor board the truck would run fine so i started to wiggle wires and for that there are two that if i touch them the truck would start to run real weird again. So i taped them up and but everything back and so far running great. I will fix better when i can figure out how too. I think it might be the plug. I just dont know where i would find one and how to get all the wires out of the old one and back in the right place in the new one. But i might just keep it this way until i can figure it out. I ordered a boost gauge bolt from pmdcables.com so next i can start to figure out why i m not getting boost. I dont think it is the Wastegate/Boost Solenoid because i stopped getting the code when i put a new vacum pump on it. I think the next step is a Wastegate Actuator. I was told that with the truck at a idle you shouldnt be able to move the arm on the Wastegate Actuator. And mine moves pretty easy and takes a few seconds to suck it back. Well thanks again for the help and i m sure you will be hearing from me again

i checked and cleaned all grounds, i reset the codes using a scan tool, i ended up replacing the IAT senor, that stopped my truck truck from going into derate mode and blowing black smoke, i still continue to get codes 18, 17, 35 and 36 do you think that could be related to my cam position sensor or do i have way bigger problems then that?
