I'm looking at a set of fuel miser injectors, and walt says that if i want the power gains, but still maintain the mileage that he'd reccomend i run them with the 40 hp ecm upgrade
so 65 horse and still 25 mpg, i'll take that any day

dont listen to walt's claims. did you look at his "cold air intake". more of a super hot air intake if you ask me. sure you will hear the turbo but your making less power. and those injectors are supposedly made by herzog which has been determined that they dont even make injectors. whats funny is he doesnt even make his own tunes too. he just buys them from westers and rebadges them so they appear like there from him. if you want some good injectors get some genuine bosch injectors. set the pop pressure to around 2300 psi and you will have some good atomized fuel that will get you better mpg

pop pressure is the miniumum pressure that the fuel has to be for the injector to let fuel into the engine. higher pressure means better atomization. to set it you need to install shims and you need a tester spo i would just take it to a diesel shop and let them do it. there is a guy on ebay i think callled money slave that sells cheap bosch injectors and rock auto is pretty cheap too

when I tap into the exhaust manifold do I need to have the truck running? And should I take the intake off to tap the boost line in?

take the intake off

when you drill are about thru manifold start the engine then shut off get the tap started so don't burn your hands then start it again

If you coat the flutes of the drill and tap in grease the shavings will stick to them.
