In NY you can just go to dmv and get it reclassed as diesel, not sure about other states but it might be worth lookin into.

ya i was thinking of doing that but i just have to find the time cuz you know how much DMV cares about your personal schedual

Well swapping the vins isnt completly legal but its basically would be me making a swap in to a so called 6.2 or 6.5 suburban and idk hopefully the DMV will give me some grace and allow a REF to look at it and register it as a diesel

most diesel swap laws say it must be an engine used in the same class of vehicle and engine being swapped in must be the same year or newer. so if your going to do it legally i hope you have a 3/4 ton burb and your cummins your going to use is a 95 or up

well mine is a halfton converted to 3/4 so really if i wanted to change vins i cld just have a 3/4 suburban vin?
