Well, I took my buddy's advice - he's retired after 30 years over the road - and used just a little squirt of ether in my 6.2 chevy, and it sounded like when the timing chain jumps - really lousy! Then I saw fuel leaking out from under... then I saw it. A grade 8 starter bolt lying on the ground!!! Yep, that did it. Now i gotta figure out how to get the remainder out - this is NOT going to be any fun.

The moral of the story is NEVER USE ETHER IN A 6.2!!!!!!!

I gotta go now and find a nice brick wall to beat my head against!!!

Any suggestions on how to get that broken threded part of a bolt out? Anyone? Help?!?
