Default need help

hey guys i need some help with a new truck i picked up its a 93 chevy 2500 6.5 turbo with about 180k on it, so here is my problem the truck runs and drives just has no power i can hear the turbo spooling and boost gauge shows about 30psi most of the time i was told my the guy i bought it from that the injection pump was out of timing and just needed to be adjusted but from what i have read those pumps are not adjustable if any one can help i would be thankful.

1 Thinking about checking the boost gauge 30 psi to high shouldn't be no more 12psi 15 psi max

not to sure on 93 about timing sent non puter i would think no diff then old 6.9 ford where u just turn the pump hair to the right. but i could be wrong

just loosen the timing bolts and move the pump a few mm til it runs better

yea sorry it has an aftermarket turbo that i guess runs about 30-40 under load at lest thats what the guy told me and i will try that adjustment thanks guys i ley you know how i made out

yea no 6.5 can handle 30-40psi for long. your going to be looking at cracked heads and blown apart pistons before much longer if you keep running it at the much. even under load they should not hit more than 16 or so. mine with a 7k load behind it going up a 4% grade wont even hit 16.
