Default cat converter

my truck is a 94 3500 dually. 6.5 turbo. F code. no O2 sensor or egr. my question is, does it have a cat converter on it? looks like one behind the trans crossmember but not sure if its a cat or just some type of chamber.

I'm sure that its probably a cat. There is an easy fix for that tho cut it out and put a pipe in its place. Plus you'll get better flow too!

Its a soot trap. That should help flow.
