Hey guys finally got my truck.....but the problem was that the engine will not even crank over.....Its not the engine because i can pull it an will crank...stick shift......the gauges on the dash dont work an i dont think anything is coming on when i turn the key on.....could it be the ignition switch maybe.....1996 chevy 3500.....has new batterys an the lights come on........any help

 

I'd try jumping the starter solenoid terminal. It will spark, so protect your eyes. Also look and see if your starter gear is jammed in the flywheel. Oh, hmmm, are you getting power in the cab? Could also be a fusable link.

Well it was a simple fix......the battery cables where fouled up....cleaned an started right up....Thanks Guys
