Default supercharged 6.2/6.5

hi i was wondering if it is fesible to put a supercharger on a chev 6.2 or6.5 as i live in the desert area i think a turbo may creat to much heat under the bonnet .It's just a thought maybe i should go with a well built standard motor at any rate i will be getting it from the states and shipping it to the oz .I will be replaceing the 6.2 in my hj75 landcruiser ute ,4.11 diffs and standard box 5 speed and transfercase
thankyou

yeah, actually someone in Australia put one in a landcruiser too. Start searching around for 6.5 optimizer. The top of the line one is supercharged. I wish I still had the pic of it in the truck. He was associated with the guy with a twincharged red duramax over there.

Hi after alot of study and phone calls i have decided to go with a supercharger because they run cooler about 30% aparently and if they stuff up you can disconnect them the super charger ontop of a optimiser 18/1 compression motor coupled to a 4l80 auto gear box with manual shift which offers a get home mode to a atlas transfer case which is they say indistructable sound like the go to me all dropped into a extended hj75 with molly axles and lockers .i think i could safely say this combo would give anyone the advantage raceing across the centre of aus and finding the way to the top of the rock thats the plan anyway.we will keep you all posted with pics during the build up.
