Default 6.2 Lacks Power

I just got my truck a couple of weeks ago and it really lacks power. When i go up a hill it really struggles and on the highway the 4th gear is pretty much pointless because of the lack of power. Any ideas on what can be wrong? Thanks

Make sure it has a good fuel filter and air filter on it. Turn the pump up. I am not sure if they ran the Borg Warner turbos or the Banks turbos on the 6.2. If they run a waste gated Borg Warner turn the turbo up. If they run the banks it has no waste gate on it. Put 4" exhaust on it. Before I would do much turning up on it I would drop the oil pan and put main studs in it and a fluid damper on it. You could also put a scat crank in it if you have $500 laying around. The biggest reason I would do the studs and the damper is you have one of the strongest 6.2 6.5 blocks and I wouldn't want to damage it but you can still turn it up without doing that stuff to it.
