Passenger battery cable
So I have done the remote PMD, good to go there, but still get battery drainaige (low voltage on gage) while running, and it just kills batteries when not run daily. I pulled off the passenger side battery cable and ohmed it to ground and found it shorted. Easy fix right bad seloniod on starter. I was wrong too. Starter was fine, so cut the little wire going outbound from the battery and ohmed it to ground and sure enough 2 ohms. I suspect this is my issue but according the Chilton it goes to the ignition. WTF it's a deisel no distributor or coil.... so are they talking about he ignition switch or possibly the glow plug controller? Where do I go from here?
Oh '94 Chev Sub, 6.5TD. any help will be appreciated.

You still have an ignition in a sens. You have a shut of solenoid, fuel pump, glow plugs and a million other things that are hooked to the battery and if one of them has a path to ground on constantly your going to drain the battery. This is a hard one to diagnose on here. The only thing I can tell you is to grab your ohm meter and search through things till you find where the path is going. Good luck.
