6.5 turbo longblock?

Default 6.5 turbo longblock?

Can I or should I use a turbo long block in place of a 6.5 na long block? I'm aware of the difference in compression ratio. I may put a turbo on in the future. Can I just use the short block? Is there something I'm missing? I have a 94 6.5 na in a P30 tool truck. It's all mechanical. Thx SteveinAZ

You can interchange both of them the difference in compression is next to nothing. The 94 p30 had a mechanical injection pump on it? Most 94 had a electronic pump on them.

P30 even had a non turbo mechanical 6.5 in 95.

I think I have the 60* mount surface on the intake. Will my intake fit the turbo heads? Or can I mount the air cleaner to the turbo intake?

I forgot p30 was a van. The heads are different they have a center mount turbo and the intakes will not interchange. The heads will interchange between both of them and the lower end should be the same.

go to a junkyard get some side turbo heads make sure there not cracked and you should be good.

Are the side turbo heads 60* or 90* bolt hole at the intake?
