i have a 6.5 turbo diesel and was wondering if the engine and a nv4500 5 speed trans would fit into my 82 k35 that originally had a 6.2 in it?

 

yeah there pretty much the same engine just slightly larger displacement. just reuse your motor mounts. might need to fab up a tranny crossmember.

 

It will fit. There is some difference in the oil cooler lines but I can't remember what it is but its not that hard to correct. The 6.5 may have computer controlled injection pump and turbo but thats not hard to change any way.
