Chevy 6.5 What should I be looking for when going to look at one.
Hello everybody, I am planning o. Going to look at a 1995 Chevy k2500 next week with a 5 speed manual in it. It has 255,000 miles on it. Is It worth going to look at it? The owner has put many brand new parts on it and should I be worried about the miles on these engines. Thank you very much!

List is too long for things too look for but a simple google search will tell. If you plan on using it for towing make sure you run through the gears and see if you'll be satisfied. The nv4500 5 speed has a big 3-4 shift gap. I love the trans behind my Chevy Cummins it eats gap up quick . but for 6.5s I prefer automatics trans just lugs it too much unless u shift 26-2800rpms
