Brothers work truck gave up on 5 gear. So he kept driving around town only, of course....
After an unknown time it finally Gave up on all gears. Any body got a clue? Clutch only, or whole thing needs to be rebuilt. Please lend a finger...

 

it could be just the clutch but not likely.you won't know until you have it out on the ground and can have a look.If you can adjust the clutch try that and see if it helps.

 

He said he heard a clunk when it broke. But can u think of a place to get a rebuild kit? Also which clutch I should get for this truck. I've got no idea.

 

cant know until you take a look for damage. for clutch take a look at the sponsers on this site. they can hook you up probably.

 

Well lets just say i'm um sure its gonna need somethin in there. I don't even know which tranny i'm lookin at. I'd like to tell him what rebuilt kit to buy. I'll look around at what the sponsers have to offer, though i'm kind of in the dark. Help Pls.

 

im pretty sure its a NV4500 or a sm465. probably nv4500
