Default picked up a side job maybe this weekend...

Anyone have a overview of the 6.5 Diesel?

Need to replace some Glow plugs and maybe a glow plug relay or what ever they use...

Something I can read and get smart on the 6.5 and 6.2... LOL

what year? and by overview you mean a picture?

get some bosch duratherms or ac delco 60g for glowplugs. there is a glowplug controller on back of engine next to firewall on newer engines. drivers side is a breeze for changing glowplugs.

passenger side is a little harder. middle two glowplugs on pass side are in plastic funnel shield to protect from exhaust manifold heat. need to unbolt the shield and take it out while at the same time unplugging glowplug from the wire.

also there is connections on framerail that are zipped tied that needed to be unplugged so you have room to slide glowplugs back out.

i did glowplugs with turbo off because i was doing injectors at same time but you should be able to replace all of them without taking turbo off. i can look tomrrow to be sure.
