Default 6.5L keeps dieing help me out

I have had the truck for a couple of months it never have me any issues till last week it started dieing.but if i just sat there for 20 mins it will start up and run fine. it gives you no sign just dies when it wants to. i replaced the fuel pump right under the drivers side door and the fuel filter. thought i had it fixed but deceided to die again last night..I have been told to buy the FSD from SS diesel and that would solve my problem just need to get it back on the road asap.. would really appreciate some help

heat rises and will hit the pmd you just mounted on your intake manifold if you buy that product from ss diesel. heat kills pmds so doing that will just kill them faster then having them on the pump. you need to relocate the pmd out of the engine compartment on to the front bumper or framerai away from all that heat.

pmd relocation kit

SOunds like time for a new pmd AND heatsink AND relocation cable AND resistor. Make sure you get all of these. Buy a good BRAND NEW not supposedly good pmd. Get a heatsink and mount it to that like woody said. The relocation cable is about 6 feet long and will let you move it to a remote location, bumper is the best for airflow right in between the "nostrils" The resistor goes in the pmd where the plug goes into it. You NEED the resistor or the pmd will fry shortly. These resistors come in numbers 1-9, put in a 9 for a tiny amount more fuel (not noticeable).. Fsd is a good unit, ONLY if you mount it somewhere else.
