6.5?
I have owned a 6.2 and am looking at purchasing a 6.5. Never really been an enthusiest just liked the gas milage and had oil changed done else where if that shows you my mechanical abilities. How many miles are a 6.5 roughly good for, when will the ip wear out stuff like that??? How hard is it to turn up the fuel on a 93 vs a 94 what are the big differences between the 93 mech and 94 electric? Can anyone give me a bunch of insight on these motors. Will all perfoamnce parts from a 94+ work on a 93?? Thanks in advance.

when properly maintained i dont see why they wont go 350,000 miles
when will the ip wear out stuff like that???
it depends on what you use your 6.5 for and how you drive. mine is it 150,000 and still going strong

in the 93 its free and on the 94 you have to buy a chip

the injector pump is different and differnet problems occur

people think the 93 are more reliable which i guess is kinda true but a good working EFI 6.5 will give you better fuel mileage and power then any mechanical 6.5 could. keeping up with maintance and installing the right parts and you have a diesel that may not be the most powerful but is a damn good engine in terms of reliabilty and fuel mileage. it also is very durable when properly maintanied
