6.5 prob

Default 6.5 prob

will a injection pump from a 93 6.5 fit on a 98 if so what are the differences

no it will not fit because 93 is mechanical injection pump and a 98 is a electronic injection pump. it could technically run but the computer would not be able to control the fuel so it would probably not let the truck run or anything

It will work but you will have to work something out so that the computer is still controlling your tranny (that is if you have an automatic), but most people that I have talked with ended up finding out that it is a more of a headache to swap out IP's than to just leave it alone.

I didn't realize how lucky I was when I bought "Ole Cheyenne" til I had several people offer to buy it from me (because of the mechanical injection).
