White Smoke On Startup

when this guy starts his 92 chevy it takes a long time to start and lots of white smoke

Sounds like bad glow plugs.

If it's cold, it might white smoke for a while until the engine gets warm, but if it's hard to start and white smokes a lot, definitely sounds like glow plugs
