I was thinking and came up with a project idea. Buy a 82-87 chevy 3/4-1ton 4x4 with the 6.2 diesel in it. Buy a banks turbo kit, put an auroa 2000 turbo on, replace the DB2 pump with a 8cylinder verison of the bosch p-pump(they make em just hard to find). Powerstroke intercooler, custom injectors, fire rings, arp studs, 4"straight pipe, cold air intake, all the gauges, dana 60 up front and a GM 14bolt rear with 4.53 gears and a sm465. Sound like a good idea?

It dont need to be cheap because it's going to be built over several years. Im hoping that it will be able to hold together, pull a 3 horse trailer with ease, and run with the new common rails.
