Hello all I am new here with a new to me truck and I am new to chevy diesels. I got a 94 k2500 6.5 turbo on a trade from my buddy. It's been sitting for a few years outside hood open. Squirrels and mice did a number on the electrical open had one terminal left on a battery cable. I ran new 2/0 awg cables and 4 awg for charging wire. Fixed numerous other wires but I believe I am missing something. I know my ford diesels well 7.3 and 6.0 some about the other 2. I was a heavy duty diesel mechanic for a couple years, so I do have some experience. But anyways current problem I trying to diagnose before I stick too much more money into this thing is glow plug like is always on shuts off when I turn key on then I hear a click assuming relay light comes back on and doesnt turn off again until truck fires but wont start. Low coolant light also seat belt light is always on doesnt shut off might be fixed was low on coolant also no dome light no window switches working or power locks haven't tested power yet. Only light on whole truck that works is 3rd brake light which is brand new along with the tail lights. Replaced those as previous owner told me the circuit boards were bad in the lights so put brand new led assemblies in. Other things ive noticed cross over pipe is rusted out on drivers side have a new diamond eye one to put in, pmd looks to be relocated. I have a new relocation kit a different buddy gave me when I said I was getting this truck not sure if there is a new pmd in the box or not. Brakes aren't working fluid is pretty much empty will figure that out after its running. I am going to pull dash bezel off quick as I see bits of a mouse nest hanging out of it.
