Default Troubleshooting no start after headgasket and lit pump replacement..

Just bought a 94 chev with f series 6.5. It had a blown head gasket when I bought it. Iv since then replaced the head gaskets, lift pump, batteries, glow plugs and thermostat. I labeled everything as I took it apart to make sure it all went back where it needed to be. Been trying to get the air purged from the fuel system for days now. Iv bumped the lift pump to help prim the system. I have fuel at a steady stream out of the t valve. Iv checked to make sure iv got fuel to the injection pump. Iv got some down the line at the injectors but just enough to make it wet. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but some tips or advice would greatly be appreciated. I also noticed that the fuel that comes out of the top of the filter is steaming hot when I check the to see if there is any air built up is that normal?

I recently did head gaskets on my 6.5 and I had the same problems. I cracked open a fuel line, at cylinder # 1 cuz it was easiest, and I got it to start up pretty quickly
