Default 4" exhaust

I have decided to put a 4" exhaust on my 2000 Chevy 3/4 ton 6.5 turbo to help keep it cool. I am looking for suggestions as to which 4" exhaust system is best from those people who have actually converted to a 4" system and why they think it is the best. I am towing a 10,000 lbs. trailer through the desert. Thanks for any help.

Try Diamond Eye they still sell kits for 6.5's I don't believe though that going to 4" will make that big of a difference temp wise make sure the cooling system is up to par all the fins in the radiator are clear of debris and there is no scale build up inside of the radiator.

And replace thermostat/thermostats with AC/Delco's only, and another thing you could do is a Duramax fan clutch upgrade these would give you more bang for the buck.

Installed today. Got the one without a muffler, just straight pipes. Sounds good and fit well. I was surprised. Not too loud by any means, glad I didn't go with the muff.

Hardest part was getting the downpipe hooked to the turbo. Ended up taking off the turbo heat shield and air cleaner box. That made it much easier.

Don't have the pyrometer or boost gauge installed yet so I cannot give you any real data.
