holy ****, have you monitored input speed and engine rpm yet? need to be damn sure those sensors are reading right. might be a dumb question but have you flused the coolers and made damn sure there arent any restrictions? heat build up attacks the convertor first and if there is reduced cooler efficiency and/or flow it could be causing this stuff. Also if the tcc solenoid is not in good shape/leaking it could be doing this to you to. Sorry i cant be there with a scan tool but i diagnose these things on a daily basis and with the right scan tool you can do a lot.

Yea everytime I had it out, I thoroughly flushed it and back flushed it. I understand have the good diagnostic equipment definitely helps !!! I have the snap on solus ultra and unfortunately I dont have any OBD 1 hook up adapters. Friend has the Tech I and he's gonna run some tests on it hopefully find something !!! Appreciate your replies once again !!

that sucks, when i bought my modis i got the adapter pack. has obd1 german all that stuff but i do diag and electrical for a trans shop. tech 1 is awesome wish i had one, hope he sees something promising in there!

You and I both !!!! I'm running out of hair to pull out working on this thing !!!
I need to get in touch with a snap on man that knows what adapters I need for OBD1 the snap on man I've been dealing with has no clue he has gotten before different adapters and none of them work

should be. it uses the scan tools normal cable and just adapts between obd1 gm and obd standard cables and has a lighter plug in for power.
