Default Intercooler or Water Injection

I'm looking to squeeze some more towing power out of my 97 6.5TD. I recently installed a 4" exhaust, upgraded air intake, and new injectors. I will add an aftermarket ECM with turbo master in the near future. Does anybody have any experiences with any of the after market 6.5 intercoolers or injection systems? Has anybody tried using a dodge/ford/duramax intercooler on the 6.5? Appreciate any feedback at this point. Thanks!

Cooling stack for the 6.5 is compromised already adding in a in grille IC compromise it further and is significant work, I ran a under bumper Spearco IC for yeas on my GM turbo, better gain for me was better turbo, I now have eliminated the IC not required when running with a A Team turbo.

What are you doing with the truck needing extra power towing or driving, IC is the better choice if towing over WMI that requires as "cooling medium" water has to be hauled/replenished vs. air with an IC.

I need to better understand your direction where you are going with the performance adders to offer best recommendation I can provide.
