Radiator Replacement Question
So this morning on my way to the job site the radiator in my 6.5 TD decided to blow up. The local junk yard has a few Sierras that I've been picking parts from but they are the gasoline version. I looked in to it and the radiator for the 5.7 is roughly the same dimensions but the 6.5 has a 3 row and the 5.7 has a 2 row, think it will be alright?
No a gas burner radiator will not work for very long especially in warmer weather. get your original radiator fixed or pony up for a new radiator trying to save a few$ now will cost more in the near future.
Yeah definitely not fun. I'm waiting for one to come in for my 5.9. Damn thing decided to start pissing on my way to work. Good luck, hopefully it wasn't too much. I got a great deal from jc Whitney.
