The grey PMD requires an extension harness with gold plated terminals and a matching resistor-otherwise no real difference.

It sounds like a PMD but could still be an IP issue?

 

thanks bro your help means a lot this is my first diesel it a very clean truck with only 116000 miles on it I bought it a month ago thinking it would be a good truck and it ran great when I test drove it and for about a week after but its been nothing but problems every since

 

Sounds like mine was.

Once you get the 20 year old truck problems sorted out it will be reliable and you will like it a lot.

You will also get a good education and be good at maintaining it on your own.

 

yeah im not really into letting others work on my truck! If u want something done rite you have to do it yourself
