Truck died? Wonder why?
Picked up a new OPS and socket this morning. Changed the OPS out and the truck started right up and dint smoke like it used to. Took it for a ride to get it warmed up. Gonna start it after it sets for a little while. Hopefully this takes care if it. Still bought a lift pump in case.
Mines from Napa, I'm gonna get a Delco sometime next week, they didn't have any in stock and I wanted one right now. Are the OPS's from SS Diesel any good? Was going to order a few things and thought about getting one.
The aftermarket OPS might last a while?
No matter what switch you use you should google OPS relay mod and install it for long term reliability or buy the kit from Kennedy Diesel.
I personally don't deal with SS Diesel-wayy too many reports of no service after the sale or rude/ignorant contacts when problems are addressed-many dissatisfied customers treated poorly when warranty is required.
Best advice on vendors is use site sponsors here.
