The 93 was a mechanical wastegate turbo so it all depends on the spring strength-without a boost gauge it is tougher to judge?

The safe boost level is 15 psi or below and above 10 psi there should be water injection or intercooler added.

So if I up the boost on the stock turbo a few psi I gotta spend a few $$$$

For now I wanna get a lil more out of it until I can total go over this truck needs some exterior work but its all there its nothin fancy roll up windows manual lock and mirrors I feel its a good truck to start with to learn about turbo pickups

Stock turbo 6.5 on the back side of turbo where the arm and rod connect for the waste gate the lever is angled back towards firewall when engine is off idle and if I goose throttle

Yep spring loaded canister I don't hear any turbo whistle at all through intake or exhaust

these engines don't whistle unless you change the exhaust and intake.

You should have a boost and EGT gauge installed to know what you are getting and to protect the engine.

I've have the snorkel mod and 3" pipe back to axle then 4" out any tips on installing boost and egt
