Default 99 suburban cuts off while driving

About once a week. Let it sit for a while and it starts. Any guesses? Won't do it when I need it to. Really annoying, really undependable.

Faulty ignition switches aren't uncommon. Truck can cut out at any time then you have no trouble restarting it. If it cuts out when you turn the wheel or use column controls that's a sure sign.

Could be a number of issues. Need more info.

Remote PMD/FSD installed yet?

Also does the instrument cluster die with engine but radio and blower motor work fine?
If so ignition switch likely culprit.
