Default Chevy 6.5 need help

Hello everybody, I have had my Chevy 6.5 turbo diesel for about two years with no problems and love my truck. But the past couple weeks the engine just shuts down while driving, usually when I am backing out of the driveway for some reason. I need help, I have checked out all the talk about the PMD relocator but I cannot find the darn thing in my truck!! Please help any advice or experience would be great! Thanks

Yours may not yet have the PMD relocated?

It is about the size of a deck of cards and when mounted in the stock location would be found on the drivers side of the injection pump with an electrical harness plugged into it toward the rear-black part shown in 1st picture labeled FSD:

The relocation kit consists of an aluminum heatsink,a new PMD resistor,a PMD and a 6 foot extension harness.

lowest price is here, add the frequently bought together parts to get everything needed:
Amazon.com: Dorman 904-104 Fuel Pump Driver Module: Automotive Amazon.com: Dorman 904-104 Fuel Pump Driver Module: Automotive

Can also be bought many other places for more money.

Once you have what you need mount the PMD to the cooler with a heat transfer pad/paste,install the resistor in the socket and mount the cooler combo under/behind the frt bumper and route the extension harness properly.

Sometimes the cooler is mounted to the intake manifold but that is unacceptable.

Have you tested to see if the lift pump is working when the engine runs?
The oil pressure switch powers the LP at that time and is a common failure item-AC Delco ONLY for replacement, also google OPS relay mod and install for long term reliability.

Could also be an electrical problem associated with worn engine mounts?

In the future it is more polite to start a new thread with your problem even if it seems related to another's difficulty.

Auto zone sells one with a life time warranty but it cost about 100$ more.

Need to check on that-seems the lifetime warranty is being re-written lately?
