Default dropping oil pan 1996 6.5

Hi can anyone give me any information on how to drop the oil pan out of my 1996 6.5 3500 4x4. I have to replace a piston. I have been searching the internet and have found nothing. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Best to pull the engine in that case.
Otherwise you must remove the frt differential to leave room for the pan to come out.

May even have to pull the engine mount bolts and lift the engine some to get enough clearance.
