I am looking at the connector that would go to the PMD.

The way I am looking at it - the pins would be - A E D C B F

Is this correct or am I chasing my tail big time. About to give up and look for a sghop that works on 6.5's First I would have to find one. LOL

It just doesn't make sense to me that I have 5 volts on B when I am supposed to have 5 volts on E and I have continuity F to E when I am supposed to have Continuity from F to B and do not.

It's like B and E are swapped, But how could that be possible? The truck ran great for years. Right up til it suddenly died.

The first time I never checked B for any thing but continuity to F the first time around, because it isn't supposed to have anything except when the engine is running.

If I thought swapping the IP would make this thing run, I'd be all over it.

But I can not afford to swap the IP and end up right where I am now.

Do you have any contact info for Buddy? I lost all the numbers out of my phone and can't seem to find his email

Got some good info today. The plugs are stamped as far as which wire is which.

I had a look at my spare extension harness and no markings as well as my spare IP today and didn't see any markings on it?

You should have 5 volts on E and you need continuity between B & F

There should not be continuity between F and E unless the wires are melted together, that could be very bad for the ECM.

I'm sure you've seen this already. I didn't notice any letters on any of my plugs either

By a previous post I did not understand that the pins were in alphabetical order across the plug. I also Could not see well enough to know the plugs were labeled with the pin configuration. Actually only about half the plugs I have are labeled.
Turned out I had a pin that was not making good connection. When I tested each pin they all read correctly. When I tested at the end of the extension harness I found an inconsistency.
It actually worked with a different harness that seemed to fit together tighter
When I have nicer weather, I need to replace the PMD/ injector pump harness.
Thank you much
