Default What's the significance of vin type F? and 453-t convert?

I see on here there is a significance to the type f vin. What is so special about it? my truck is a '93 could it be type F? How do i tell?

Also if i wanted to do a motor conversion, would a 453-t or similar be cheaper than the cummins? This truck is used as a cattle puller and a hay hauler so would a 453-t have enough power? 8 balesx1800lbs apiece= 14,400lbs lotta weight there....

if anyone is interested it could be for sale...

F vin is considered heavy duty sort of and as such did not have an EGR valve to meet emissions.
The 8th digit of the vin will be an F or S to signify that option.
