6.5l Chevy conversion?

If you wanted to switch a 6.5 out what motor/transmission would you use? Thanks

Cummins engine chev trans with adapter plate and stand alone trans controller for auto.

its a 5 speed. 1993 3/4 ton chevy 6.5l turbo

know about what id need? crossmember is a given..

Also some chev 1 ton school buses came equipped with a cummins 12v I believe-they would be a good donor vehicle.

I have done a 1984 1 ton 2 wd , used a 12v with auto. my latest is my 1996 1 ton dually with a 24v 2001 cummins,I retained the ECM and last week put a Edge Comp on it. a good place to get info is from Dawna and Ken at Auto world 406-727-8915, They are good people to talk with.
