Default wont star on its own

I have an 87 6.2 and I have put new glow plugs and have tested continuity to all of then and voltage to all of them, everything checks out. The only way to get it to start is to mist starting ffluid over the intake while the air filter is off. Once it starts it'll start again on its own if I don't let it set for more 4 or so hours depending on the temp. I don't know what my nest step is and was wondering if anyone has run into this before

thanks

6.2/6.5s + starting fluid = disaster check all fuel lines any leaks at all and you will have trouble starting it pump compressed air into the tank 10 to 15 lbs is plenty look for wet spots and air leaks make sure you have a Diesel fuel cap If you must spray it use WD-40 or non stick cooking spray
