6.5 TPS reset

I have a 93 3500 with the 6.5 turbo and I would love to get any info i can on how to calibrate the TPS. My dad changed out the injection pump and we put a new TPS on the new pump and adjusted it so its in the same place as the old one but the Idol seem a little high. I heard you have to have some kind of spacer to re calibrate it? any advice is appreciated

There is a special kent moore tool to properly locate the TPS.
